Security Corporation is the BOLT Spare Tire Lock
for 1991 to current Jeep Wranglers. The BOLT
Jeep Spare Tire Lock features the company’s
Breakthrough One-Key Lock Technology, which
eliminates the need to carry extra keys to
protect expensive Jeep spare tires. It works by
permanently programming the lock to the Jeep’s
ignition key to prevent problems with lost keys
and costly lockouts. To use, simply insert the
Jeep’s ignition key into the lock cylinder, turn
once and spring-loaded plate tumblers move up
and down until they are matched exactly to that
key. The auto-return spring automatically locks
when the key is removed. BOLT Jeep Spare Tire
Locks have an automotive-grade lock shutter to
keep out weather and debris, and a six-plate
tumbler sidebar that prevents picking and
bumping. The locks are available through most
truck accessory stores. Additional products
include cable locks, padlocks, receiver locks,
