Meyer Distributing Announces Champaign, IL Location

Meyer Distributing, Inc., a leader in automotive specialty products marketing and distribution, announces the addition of its Champaign, IL location. The cross-dock will have a direct feed from Meyer's Jasper, IN distribution hub which houses one of the largest inventories of automotive accessories in the nation.

“The Champaign crossdock will add additional deliveries for long standing Meyer accounts,” states Nick Gramelspacher, VP of Sales & Marketing. “They will have even better access to massive inventories with next day delivery. We are committed to giving our customers the best opportunity to provide great availability and high service level to their customers.”

“Meyer has focused a lot of attention on geographic expansions into new markets”, says Matt Schaick, National Accounting and Credit Manager. “But we are always looking for better ways to improve service to established markets and our loyal customers. It’s a continual effort to strengthen the logistical map in every market possible.”

“Delivery will improve to many of the major Illinois metropolitan markets,” states Jeff Braun, CFO of Meyer. “Champaign, Decatur, Springfield, Peoria, and Bloomington will see increased frequency was well as cities in Indiana such as Terre Haute and Vincennes. This really strengthens the core around the Jasper, IN region and allows Meyer better opportunities in tire and exhaust distribution.”
