We encourage our customers to stock a variety of merchandise to help boost their sales. Therefore, you may return a reasonable percentage of resalable products in original boxes under, but not limited to, the following conditions.

Warranty / Defective Returns / Resalable

Meyer Distributing fully backs our manufacturers’ warranties. If a product should prove defective, we will handle the warranty claim under, but not limited to, the following conditions.

CONDITIONS: The following policies related to Stock and Warranty / Defective Returns are to be strictly adhered. Meyer Distributing will only issue an RGA (Return Goods Authorization) if:

  • Full explanation is disclosed for the return(s) / prospective warranty problem.
  • A RGA (Returned Goods Authorization) is issued by a Sales Person for all return(s).
  • The return(s) matches the part and description given on the RGA.
  • The freight is prepaid.

Credit will be issued upon inspection of all items. A handling / restock fee will be deducted from the original purchase price if your Year to Date Returns to Gross Purchases Rate for Good/Resalable Product is 5% or greater. See complete matrix below:

Meyer Distributing Reserves the right to refuse credit, but not limited to, the following conditions:

  • The Item is returned for a non warrantable reason.
  • The Item is not as described on the RGA.
  • The Manufacturer requires that you deal directly with them regarding defective items. Click here to view manufacturers requiring RMA's directly from them.
  • The Manufacturer's Warranty policy takes precedent on issuing of credits. Credit then will be issued upon the Manufacturer’s approval and will include appropriate return shipping charges. No credit will be issued for labor expenses incurred and fees may apply.
  • Returns sent back for missing a secondary component or install kit. These will be handled by the manufacturer in the field and/or Meyer Distributing will act as a liaison to provide the absent pieces.

A handling / restock fee will be deducted from the original purchase price if your Year to Date Returns to Gross Purchases Rate for Good/Resalable Product is 5% or greater (commencing Jan. 1st of each year). Meyer Distributing will enforce a 30% restocking fee on any items returned to honor a past due balance regardless of this ratio.

  • Less than 4.9% return rate = 0% restock fee
  • 5% - 7.4% return rate = 10% restock fee
  • 7.5% - 10% return rate = 20% restock fee
  • 10% or more return rate = 25% restock fee
